Liquid Colours

Introduction

Using cheap and easy to find materials, you can crate a surface that 'plays with light', creating colourful patterns.

Description of the Experiment

- Pour the water into the plastic plate

- Submerge the black cardboard piece

- Drop the nail polish in the water, right above the cardboard

- Wait a few seconds to allow the patterns to form

- Remove the cardboard with the tweezers and observe the patterns from different perpectives
